People tend to say nice things about others for diplomacy's
sake and that's okay, but let me tell you, with an objective view here, that the folks at Hope Assembly of God have it
going on! Pastor Gordon Cashwell of Hope Assembly of God, the Convoy of Hope and Without Walls was a real encouragement during
the Thursday, May 28th Grand Opening of the Charleston House of Prayer, located at 633 King Street.
First off, Gordon has a quick-witted sense of humor that carries the crowd well, but more importantly, he loves the Lord and
people deeply. His hotdog outreach story was hilarious! It was so enjoyable to be here this day. The warmth was in the
air and many friends were there from Father Ron Satterfield, Pastor Frank Signeous, Earl & Kathleen Cox, Jesse Williams,
Jennifer Quinn, JoAnn Parrott & Jane Howerth. The turn-out was great and the room was filled. Most of the 100+ people
in the room were church leaders. The Charleston House of Prayer will serve as an interdenominational site dedicated
for prayer. Gordon's well-earned reputation around Charleston as a Kingdom guy and team player is well known.
He was very helpful to the prayer campaign in the Park Circle area. For more info http://www.hopeassembly.org/
